Archery Whitetail Hunts

We only sell a very select number of archery hunts each year to manage our local deer population, with a goal to only harvest mature bucks. Spot and stalk, as well as ground blinds, are part of prairie white tail hunting. This is a challenging hunt.

Season

Our Archery season typically runs from the last weekend in September through the third weekend in November with the Rut starting around the end of October.

License

The license is a Lottery Draw, but as a Non-Resident, you are guaranteed to receive the license if you apply. The cost of the license is $195 for the 2009 season. Licenses can be applied for at the South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks website, www.sdgfp.info.
